Prepare to celebrate the best day of your life with Pop The Top, the UK’s premier 3-piece pop and rock band! Don your dancing shoes and get ready to sing along to all of your favourite songs under the glow of their industry leading light show! How do Pop The Top create such an unforgettable live experience? In addition to their talents on their instruments, the boys sing impressive harmonies and further elevate their sound by incorporating modern technologies such as drum triggers, MIDI-controlled Kempers and high quality backing tracks – just like all of your favourite modern pop artists! Couple this with their industry-leading, fully-programmed lighting rig and you have a spectacle that, in the past, wouldn’t have been possible without a large ensemble of musicians and a lighting engineer. Pop The Top creates bespoke setlists for every client from their enormous 300+ song repertoire, taking your musical preferences and pairing them with party classics that always go down a treat! With seven years experience performing together at over 500 weddings and events across the UK & Europe, they are the perfect choice for your big day. A standard booking includes two hours of live performance, basic DJ service (until midnight), full lighting rig and PA plus, they’ll happily learn a first dance or special request free of charge! Pop The Top also have a range of optional add ons, including extra band sets, late stay DJ and afternoon acoustic sets, to enhance your event.
Everywhere! Pop The Top are based in the South West UK, but are available throughout the country, Europe, and the rest of the world.
We usually allow 60-90 minutes for set up and soundcheck, depending on room access and load-in.
At Pop The Top we’re entirely self-contained. We bring a pro-level audio setup, as well as our crowning jewels – a full, tour-grade light show. If you have more than 250 people attending your event, please let us know as we’ll have to expand our PA to ensure everyone’s able to rock out and amend your quote accordingly.
Not a problem! While sound limiters aren’t the ideal scenario for live music, we’ve got extensive experience working with them. We do ask that you let us know beforehand if your venue has got a limiter, so that we can plan ahead and bring suitable gear (such as an electric drum kit) for the night.
Of course! We love playing first dances and will learn and perform yours at no extra cost. Our only requests are that the song is suitable for the band to play and we are given at least 30 days notice.
Of course! We’re more than happy to send them over to you and your venue coordinator in the run-up to your event.
We ask for a minimum of two standard 13A sockets. The only other requirement is that the power is a 230V UK supply. Generators are fine, provided that there is a designated circuit for the band that is not shared with other equipment such as cookers, fridges, or lights. The generator needs to have enough juice to supply us with at least 8 kW of power.
Absolutely! Our DJ service is free as part of your booking. You can bring your own iPod/phone/mp3 player with a specific playlist, or leave it up to us! Either way, we’ll manage the playlist on the night.
We love playing in this band and will always endeavour to keep the band members the same as what you see here. If for some reason one of us can’t make it, that member will be replaced with one of our highly skilled deputies and we will still honour the booking.
