Ada Grace has been playing weddings for over 10 years and has experience playing a huge range of different functions, large and small, all over the UK.
Being trained in harp and piano from the age of 6 and then later discovering her love of singing jazz and soul, Ada brings together the traditional wedding instrument of the harp and combines it with her soulful voice to create a truly unique live music experience for your wedding.
Ada can tailor her skills to whatever you envisage for your special day and will beautifully capture the emotion of your wedding whether that be the more traditional instrumental harp, traditional with a twist; harp and vocals, instrumental piano or piano and vocals.
I always plan to be as flexible as possible so that your event runs smoothly. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.
I always aim to set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. If I am playing for your ceremony, I will play as your guests enter the ceremony room around 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.
Yes absolutely, I transport the harp by car. I play the celtic harp (also called a clarsach) so it is much easier to be transported than the larger pedal harps.
will provide everything needed for indoor and outdoor events. For outdoor events specifically I have a wireless amp so that I can set up anywhere without needing power nearby. If it’s raining I will need full cover or to perform indoors as my instrument is valuable and could be damaged.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list? You can pick anything from my setlist and you can choose up to 3 songs not on my setlist for your ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast. Alternatively if you find choosing songs overwhelming I can give you options that I think would work well
Of course, you can request up to 3 songs not included on my setlist for your ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast. Please keep in mind that not every piece if able to be played on the harp, a good way of checking is to find a video of a harpist playing it on youtube, or just ask if you’re not sure.
